Your journey begins with a flight from Auckland on the North Island to the popular city of Queenstown on the South Island!
Queenstown, a resort town on the shores of Lake Wakatipu—the longest lake in New Zealand—is a popular destination where you can enjoy both the great outdoors and strolling through the town.
Enjoy a cruise on Milford Sound, a World Heritage Site where you can view scenic fjords from the water, and take a stargazing tour at Lake Tekapo, famous for its milky blue waters and as a Dark Sky Reserve with pristine, unpolluted night skies.
Your journey concludes in Christchurch, the largest city on the South Island, known as the "Garden City" for its lush greenery.
You can enjoy the classic cityscape dotted with 19th-century churches and buildings, as well as a variety of gourmet cuisine.

Itinerary details

Day 1

Japan → Auckland
Travel from Japan to Auckland.
Please relax and enjoy your time.

After arriving at the airport, you will transfer from Auckland by domestic flight.
Day 2

Auckland → Queenstown
A Japanese-speaking staff member will greet you at Queenstown Airport and escort you to your hotel.

Queenstown is a popular lakeside resort town on the South Island.
Shops and restaurants are conveniently clustered along the lakeshore, so you can enjoy strolling through the town and taking in the autumn foliage.
Optional arrangements can be made for activities that let you experience the great outdoors, as well as popular winery tours.

Day 3

Milford Sound Cruise
Depart Queenstown early in the morning and take an early lunch break in Te Anau. (Meals are not included in the price.)
Along the way, after stopping at several photogenic sightseeing spots, you will enjoy a cruise on Milford Sound, a fjord located within Fiordland National Park, which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of Te Wahipounamu.

★Milford Sound Cruise (13:00–15:00)
Glacially carved inlets, waterfalls cascading in sprays, and towering peaks rising in layers as if competing for height—the natural beauty of Milford Sound, one of the most striking features of Fiordland National Park, is sure to surpass your imagination.

You will head back and return to Queenstown around 8:00 p.m.

Queenstown → Lake Tekapo
Travel by bus from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo.

Travel by bus from Lake Tekapo to Christchurch.

Christchurch is the largest city on New Zealand's South Island.
Known as the 'Garden City,' Christchurch is filled with greenery. The sight of seasonal flowers blooming in Hagley Park, located in the city center, and Mona Vale, on the outskirts, is well worth seeing. We also recommend trying out various modes of transport such as punting, the tram, and the gondola!
