Initially, we only had a vague wish to 'visit Turkey and Egypt for about 10 days,' but you organized a wonderful tour for us.
Before departure, despite our scattered questions and requests, you responded promptly and courteously each time, and incorporated our wishes thoroughly. Thank you!
I truly appreciate the comprehensive support.
The following are the details of Turkey.
Guides;
Both guides in Cappadocia and Istanbul were excellent.
If I were to rate them on a 5-point scale, both would get a 5.
Their Japanese was flawless, and the amount of knowledge, the content they shared, and their answers to our questions were all clear. They taught us so much.
In particular, when my friend's suitcase was damaged (two wheels were lost) during the Cappadocia-Istanbul leg, the guide immediately stepped in to see if there was anything they could do at the airport. Additionally, when we were heading from Istanbul to Cairo, they spoke to the airport staff on our behalf, explaining that the luggage was damaged.
They also proactively gave us advice, such as, "Tomorrow's temperature will be XX degrees, but it will likely feel colder, so make sure to dress warmly," and "When in Egypt, absolutely avoid eating raw vegetables or fruits, and use mineral water even for brushing your teeth." They smoothly accommodated many of our various requests, were kind, and were simply perfect.
The only minor issue was that their perfume was a bit strong for us Japanese, which made the car ride slightly uncomfortable. However, they had a lovely smile and were charming, teaching us many things about Cappadocia.
If my friends were to visit Turkey, I would definitely recommend these two guides. If they ever come to Japan, I would love to meet them again.
Hotels;
Mithra Cave: The hotel staff were all polite and kind. Right in front of our room, there was a terrace-like space (though it was a smoking area), and on the backup day for the hot air balloons, we had it all to ourselves to watch the balloons rise into the sky.
The room was warm enough, but the hairdryer had very weak airflow, so I gave up drying my hair properly before it was even half-dry.
Overall, it was a cute and nice hotel.
Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel: It was a clean hotel with colorful and cute decor. However, water was gushing out from the middle of the shower hose, leaving the toilet soaking wet. Also, when we requested a replacement for the kettle, as it wasn't working, they did not provide one.
But, well, I think that's just how overseas hotels are. Overall, it was a clean and good hotel.
