Itinerary details

• Day 1

  

  Airport transfer in Lima, the capital of South America, Peru

  If departing from Narita, you will arrive in Lima late at night on the same day after a long journey of at least 26 hours with a layover in a North American city.
  A driver will be waiting for you at Lima airport.
  After the tour participants have gathered, we will head to the hotel.
  As you will be arriving late at night, there will be no meal provided after your arrival.
  Since your flight the next morning is early, please go to bed early.
  We will head to Cusco on the 8 AM flight the next morning.
  If you are purchasing your own international flight tickets, please arrange a flight that arrives in Lima before 3 AM.

• Day 2

  

  To Machu Picchu using a plane, car, and train from Lima

  After having breakfast at the hotel, move to Lima airport.
  Take a domestic flight from Lima in the morning to Cusco.
  After arriving in Cusco, board a private car and enjoy a tour of Cusco with a lunch break.
  Visit Inca ruins such as Loreto Street, the 12-angled stone, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, and Sacsayhuamán, and have lunch at a local Cusco restaurant with Peruvian cuisine.
  After the Cusco tour, drive through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, where the train station to Machu Picchu is located.
  Enjoy the beautiful Andean sunset along the way.
  Take the Inca Rail from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.
  Drinks and snacks are served on board.
  After arriving in Machu Picchu, you will be guided to a hotel in the town, just a few minutes' walk away.
  Dinner is not included on this day.
  If you wish, please contact us in advance to arrange dinner at the hotel.

• Day 3

  

  Guided tour of Machu Picchu ruins and Huayna Picchu climb

  After an early morning wake-up, move to the entrance of Machu Picchu ruins and head to Huayna Picchu peak.
  In the morning, tour Machu Picchu while moving to the Huayna Picchu trailhead.
  Huayna Picchu peak has a trekking route along the Inca Trail, which is manageable for healthy individuals, but due to its high altitude, the oxygen is thin, making it a slightly challenging climb.
  The view of the ruins from the summit is a breathtaking sight that makes the effort of climbing worthwhile.
  After descending, head to Machu Picchu village for lunch, then re-enter Machu Picchu for further exploration of the ruins.
  Board the evening Inca Rail, disembark at Ollantaytambo station, and then transfer to Cusco by private car.
  Dinner is not included, so please consult with your guide during the transfer about what you would like to eat. We will guide you to a good restaurant in Cusco.

• Day 4

  

  Travel from Cusco to La Paz by plane, then to Uyuni

  After having breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Cusco Airport by private car.
  We will take a morning flight from Cusco to El Alto Airport in La Paz, Bolivia.
  Upon arrival in La Paz, we will guide you through the Valley of the Moon and a city tour of La Paz. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
  After the tour, we will guide you to the airport.
  We will take a night flight from El Alto Airport to Uyuni on a domestic flight in Bolivia.
  Upon arrival in Uyuni, we will check in at the Salt Hotel and have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

• Day 5

  

  Stay another night at the Salt Hotel and spend a full day at the salt flats

  I have breakfast at the salt hotel.
  Departure for the Uyuni tour is at 11:00 AM.
  We will tour Colchani Village (salt refinery), the Train Cemetery, and the town of Uyuni.
  Lunch at a local restaurant in Uyuni.
  After that, we divided into groups and boarded 4WD vehicles driven by local drivers to enter the Uyuni Salt Flats.
  If the weather is good, we will stay in Uyuni from sunset to starry sky.
  Please enjoy the mirror of the sky reflected in the Uyuni Salt Flats.
  Spend half a day at the salt lake taking trick photos and artistic photos.
  We will have dinner at the hotel.
  We will conduct the 'Sunrise/Starry Sky Tour' during the time period from the evening of the previous day to early morning, or on this day.
  Please be aware that the time may change depending on the circumstances of the day.

• Day 6

  

  All day in Uyuni, travel to La Paz on a night flight

  After breakfast at the hotel, a full-day tour to the Uyuni Salt Flats
  We will prepare a picnic lunch for you.
  We will move to the town of Uyuni before sunset.
  Dinner is not included.
  Please have dinner on your own at a restaurant in the town of Uyuni.
  Then return to La Paz by an evening flight around 8 PM. (Approximately 45 minutes)
  After arriving at El Alto Airport, you will be guided to your hotel in the city. (Approximately 45 minutes)

• Day 7

  

  Late night, transfer to La Paz Airport for an early morning flight

  Breakfast at the hotel (a boxed breakfast or early breakfast depending on the time).
  It is common to depart for Japan on a late night or early morning flight.
  You will be taken to El Alto Airport by a private car. (Approximately 40 minutes)
  After checking in for your departure flight, you will say goodbye to your guide at La Paz Airport.
