Recommended travel points
A plan that visits two of Peru’s most popular destinations, departing from and returning to Lima.
The Ballestas Islands, also known as the "Little Galapagos," are a treasure trove of wildlife.
As you set out to sea by boat, you’ll encounter sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian boobies, gulls, and a variety of other seabirds right before your eyes.
Along the way, you can also see the massive "Candelabro de los Andes" geoglyph carved into the coastal cliffs.
Its mysterious presence invites speculation about its connection to the Nazca Lines, adding even more intrigue and romance to your journey.
After enjoying the Ballestas Islands, you’ll transfer to Pisco Airport.
From here, board a small aircraft for a flight over Peru’s other wonder—the Nazca Lines.
You’ll get a panoramic view of twelve iconic geoglyphs, including the Hummingbird, Monkey, Spider, Astronaut, Hands, Tree, Dog, Whale, Lizard, and Shark.
Each is a massive artwork spanning tens to hundreds of meters in diameter, yet their full forms cannot be grasped from the ground.
It’s only from above that you can truly appreciate their precision and immense scale.
The Nazca Lines remain shrouded in mystery—who created them, for what purpose, and how they were made are questions that still puzzle us.
Although there are few clues to their true meaning, seeing them with your own eyes allows you to feel their scale and mystery in a way that photos and videos simply cannot convey.
Enjoy a journey filled with wonder, from the vibrant wildlife to the traces of ancient civilization viewed from the sky.
