Trip to Peru
I was able to enjoy a trip full of experiences, with private arrangements for tours to Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and local sightseeing in Cusco and Lima.
We efficiently visited all the key spots, and I also received explanations about the history, such as Inca culture.
I was able to fully enjoy it to my heart's content ☺
I wanted to create my own itinerary, rather than joining a typical Japanese package tour.
Although I can't negotiate directly with local tourist information centers, I can plan my itinerary to some extent myself,
But since this time my destination was a difficult place to visit alone... for someone as particular as me,
I was really glad to have met Oooh's guide this time.
As for the price, considering it was during Obon season, I suppose it was reasonable. I did wish the hotel could be a bit cheaper, or that I could opt out of airport transfers.
They were willing to negotiate even the finer details like these.
For solo travelers, I think this is more affordable than booking multiple local tours individually through other Japanese websites.
Unfortunately, due to two flight delays, I had to cancel the Nazca Lines tour on the first day.
When communicating, the time difference caused a lag in responses between the Japanese company and the South American tour company,
so I was worried whether my messages were getting through properly via chat.
I'm not sure if the Japanese-to-English or Spanish translation in this chat is done by AI or through a Japanese staff member,
I couldn't use my phone during transit, and I can't speak English without Google Translate myself...
I thought it would be better if I could send emails directly in case of emergencies.
Emails are easier to edit, so even with my poor English, I find them easier to write.
There were various issues, but those are memories too.
Thank you for a trip that will remain a lifelong memory for me.
